The instrument has been designed to sit in the gallery rail, like a ruck positive, with a simple console on the rear side with the organist able to see the altar over the top of the central part of the case. The case is of oak left a light natural colour, the screens were designed and made by Siegried Pietzsch, they are in deep relief with a strong colour and gold leaf finish.
The case and specification were designed by the consultant, Dr John Rowntree and Peter Collins in close collaboration.
