The church is a late 17th century building with skilful additions to provide extra space for church and social occasions. The interior is painted, internal fittings include a font, altar screen and pulpit by craftsmen from Hamburg. The organ replaces a visually poor instrument from the 1960’s, much of the pipework has been re-used. As in many churches in Scandinavia there is a low gallery at the west end, we have created an instrument with Great and Pedal in the main case, together with a console, and a ruck-positive behind the player. The whole instrument was constructed in our workshop but the painting was done on site by a local craftsman. Beer was applied to age the colouring!! |
