Garforth Catholic Church

A very interesting and modern structure by the architect Vincente Stienlet has been created here. It is the third building on the site over a fifty year period.  The first building collapsed and the replacement became unsafe, we hope this fine building will last for centuries.  The church had a small old organ by Sagar, a firm working in Leeds in the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

The instrument was not in good condition so just the pipes and renovated windchest have been used to create this useful instrument.  The design and concept was created by Vincente Stienlet and Peter Collins working very closely together.
