Greyfriars and Highland Tolbooth Kirk, Edinburgh

This instrument is the second largest built by us, having 50 stops over three manuals and pedal. It stands on a west gallery facing down a long nave.

The instrument was chosen by Peter Hurford in 2000 to play the complete organ works of J S Bach during the Edinburgh Festival. Numerous compact disc recordings have been made with this instrument. Some are available though this website using the 'Recordings' link opposite.
